Philosophy has brought me from Germany to Canada to the Unites States, with conference stops in the UK, Mexico, and Brazil. Along the way, I met my husband (a finance analyst) as well as friends for life.
Philosophy makes me want to learn more languages, talk to more people, and engage with their ideas.
It makes me want to put myself out there and see how others live and learn.
Teaching philosophy at Five Points Correctional Facility with Cornell's Prison Education Program and at Orchard Gardens Middle School with Citizen Schools were two of the most valuable experiences of my professional and personal life, solidifying my interest in ancient Greek explanations of wrongdoing and punishment.
